Hey everyone!
Our most recent MTG FNM saw a turnout of 1 Draft Pod, 1 Sealed Pod, and a couple of EDH pods. This is beyond what I imagined when we first put up the CCG sign board and I wanted to write a sincere note of thanks to all of you for being a part of this community and all the support so far!
What a ride it’s been. This project started at the back of a napkin 9 months ago, and today, I may not have as much time to play the games I love but nothing can beat seeing people from all walks of life come in to the store, get good stuff from packs, enjoy the games they love, receive back grade 10s for their card grading or even just enjoying their time chilling and browsing the cards in binders or on display.
At Cardboard Crack Games, my vision has always been to create a place of joy, a space where trading card hobbyists of all kinds can enjoy their passions, grow their collections, and connect with others who share the same love for their hobbies. Whether you’re here to compete, play casually, collect, or just hang out, we’re always happy to welcome you.
We’ve worked hard recently to open up the space to feel more inviting, and to provide a little more comfort for players and customers in the store. And for our next phase, we at CCG would like to open up our grounds to new products and new communities to share in the love and joy of cardboard crack!
For existing MTG patrons, do not worry! We are committed to continue heavily supporting MTG as a pillar of our store, and we have a slew of promos and rewards planned for all of you to encourage participation in whichever format you like, or to try out new formats. Will touch on this more later.
🎯 Expanding Our Product & Service Lineup
For those who have visited the store recently, you should have seen some of the new product lines we’re bringing in and we’re really excited to announce the full lineup of products and organized play events.
These are all the games that we’d be running organized play for starting next week:
- Magic: The Gathering
- Flesh and Blood
- Grand Archive
- Lorcana (Official Organized Play starts with Fabled set’s release)
- Pokémon Casual Play (shop-supported rewards, not official Gym events yet)
Other product lines we are bringing in (not yet able to run sanctioned events):
- One Piece (Bandai)
- Gundam (Bandai)
- Sports Cards (Topps / Panini)
Services we provide:
- Grading (we help appraise the cards for grading and help sending to various trusted grading services on your behalf)
- Buybacks (on all products where we run organized play and sports cards)
- Consignment (we help you sell some of your sealed / singles)
🌟 Organized Play for All
We are here to form and build communities, and that involves both supporting the competitive formats, and also casual play that allows new players to ramp up into competitive play.
We aim to make sure that these are supported on a regular basis for most of the games we are bringing in:
- New player formats (precon nights, casual nights, learn to play) so anyone can join in easily and learn the games in a low pressure environment.
- Regular competitive events (constructed, draft, tournaments) for players who want to test their skills.
Here is our rough schedule to support the games and communities! We may adjust it based on attendance and community feedback.
NOTE: MTG Standard Showdown will be shifted to Thursdays.

We’re introducing seasonal reward tracks for every game! Just join one of our events to participate.
- Earn points every time you participate in an event (bonus points for wins or bringing friends).
- Hit milestones to unlock prizes like promos, boosters, sleeves, and entries into an end-of-season lucky draw.
- The more you play, the more you get — across all games we run.
We’ll release the exact reward structure for each game soon, but the focus will always be on rewarding participation and growing the community.
